See inside Tommy Hilfiger’s $80 million penthouse atop the Plaza Hotel

Fashion mogul Tommy Hilfger has put his Manhattan penthouse on the market for a staggering $80 million. The penthouse, located atop the Plaza Hotel, features one of the Plaza’s iconic domed turret-towers. A $20 million renovation was done by Hilfger and his wife, Dee Ocleppo.
Some highlights of the residence: 4 bedrooms and 5 baths, a grand staircase, a terrace with Central Park views and 6,000+ square feet of living space.
The penthouse’s famed dome features the “Eloise Room,” named for the famed children’s-book character. The room is painted with murals by Hilary Knight, who illustrated the original “Eloise” books.
If the residence sells at the asking price, the property would be second-most expensive condo ever sold in New York City.
