Wayne Newton’s $48 million ranch on market

A massive ranch that was once owned by Wayne Newton is on the market. The cost: $48 million – which is a $22 million decrease. Even with the price cut, Casa de Shenandoah is still the costliest Las Vegas home available.
The 36-acre property was the home of Vegas legend Wayne Newton until 2010, when he sold it amid bankruptcy (he still owns 20% of the property).

Built in 1952, the massive estate has 11,192 square feet of living space. In addition to the main home, which offers 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, a total of seven additional houses are found throughout the ranch. There’s even a menagerie, where Newton kept all sorts of animals, including Arabian horses, sloths, penguins and wallabies. Outside the 37 stables there’s even a pool for the horses.
If exotic animals weren’t enough, the home comes with its own jet terminal and runway. There’s massive car space, a gaming room and tennis court.
